FAQ’s

  • Sorry, but no. We are primarily wholesale growers and as such, we have no brick and mortar store, and our nursery is not open to the public.

  • We ship to all 50 states of the USA only.

No shipments to USVI, Guam or Puerto Rico. Also, no shipments to other countries. We love you guys, but shipping times, high costs and red tape make it too difficult.

  • All orders ship for just $25, anywhere in the USA*

    • *Additional charges apply if using a Signature Confirmation option or shipping to Alaska.

  • This isn't something we offer. Turnaround isn't instant because it takes a few days to fulfill your order.

Additionally, remember that flights from Hawaii to the US Mainland or Alaska fly Eastward. That means the shipment fights the clock with both the travel time and the time change.

In other words, overnight turnaround and shipping from Hawaii to you is not possible.

  • Absolutely, within bounds of reason of course.

If you need delivery to happen within a certain timeframe, let us know. When you checkout, look for the box that asks for additional information. You can tell us there. If you miss it, just use the "Click Here to Send Us a Message" button found below.

    • Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

  • If your order seems to be delayed:

    • Check the tracking number and see if there is an issue with FedEx. Weather delays, global pandemic or other forces beyond our control may be the culprit. Give it an extra day or two and see if the delivery comes.

    If your order was mis-delivered:

    • e.g. FedEx says it was delivered but it's not there, please check with your neighbors etc. and if that yields no results, send us a note by clicking on the button below that says "Click here to send us a message".

    If your order arrived damaged:

    • Please take pictures and contact us right away. Our full contact information is printed on your packing slip. Or, as in the case above, send us a message.

  • If you buy our plants at retail outlets here in Hawaii and take your plants with you in your carry on, you might be successful in importing them.

Some of our customers have successfully brought our plants into countries in Europe (GB, Poland, France, Germany), Asia (China and Japan), at least one in Africa (Egypt) and Canada, so we know it's possible. On the flip side, each country has its own regulations and regulators. We've heard of our plants being quarantined or even confiscated by officials. Some countries, such as Australia and New Zealand, won't let any Hawaiian plants in, period.

TLDR: If you buy plants here in Hawaii and intend to bring them into a country other than the USA, you may succeed, or you may not. It'll be at your own risk.

  • Please, have a look at what we offer by browsing the "Shop" on our website. If it's not listed there, then it's not something we sell.

We are not florists, so we cannot help you with cut flowers, bouquets, wreaths or ti leaves to wrap your lau lau. Sorry.

  • Yes, we do! We always do our best to protect your precious Hawaiian plants when shipping them to you. However, even the best packaging cannot fully protect your plants from cold temperatures so please consider the risks when you order.

Even if the weather is seasonable where you are, your shipment is likely to be routed through a transport hub located in a city with a cold climate.

  • We sincerely apologize for your experience. Fortunately, this is not a common occurrence.

Plants are living organisms, and the process of being packaged and transported to a new environment can be quite stressful for them. Whether you purchased your plants in-store or ordered them online, transportation can lead to your plants wilting, drooping, or generally looking sad. If you immediately plant them in new containers, this can further contribute to their shock. Often, all a plant needs is a little extra care and attention, so our primary advice is to remain calm, leave them in their pots and allow them to acclimate for at least a week, preferably two, before planting or repotting them.

Occasionally, despite your best efforts though, a plant may not survive. If this happens, please contact us by clicking the "Click here to send us a message" button below.

Although our official policy states that all sales are final and we do not guarantee plant growth due to the many variables involved, we are generally willing to assist you. If you contact us, we will assess your situation on a case-by-case basis to see how we can help.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions. If you purchased your plant online, kindly provide your order number. If you bought it in Hawaii, let us know the location and date of your purchase, and we will respond with guidance on the next steps.
