Shipping policy

At Kanoa Hawaii, we carefully prepare and ship each order so your plants and products arrive safely. This page explains our processing times, carriers, delivery estimates, and special considerations for live plants.

Processing Times

  • Orders are typically packed and shipped within 3–5 business days after purchase.
  • During peak seasons or weather events, we may adjust processing to protect live plants. If we delay for plant health, we’ll notify you.
  • You’ll receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking once your order leaves our facility.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

We currently ship using FedEx 2nd Day or USPS Priority, depending on your order and destination.

Shipping Times

Most orders arrive within 3–5 business days after shipping. In many cases, delivery is faster (2–4 business days), but timing can vary by carrier, route, and destination. Weather or carrier delays are outside our control.

Shipping Rates

  • We charge a flat shipping fee of $25 per order for live plant shipments within the U.S.
  • From time to time, we may offer free shipping on orders over a certain purchase total. Any active promotions and thresholds will be clearly displayed on the Website and/or at checkout.

Live Plant Shipping

  • Plants are packed securely (e.g., wrapped in sphagnum moss, shipped as unpotted plantlets or in starter pots) to minimize stress in transit.
  • Some cosmetic stress—like temporary drooping or minor blemishes—is normal and usually resolves after acclimation.
  • We may hold shipments during periods of extreme heat or cold to protect your plants. We’ll email you if a weather hold applies.
  • A printed care card is included; a full digital growing guide will be available soon.

Delivery Issues

  • Please bring packages indoors promptly after delivery. We are not responsible for plants left outdoors or exposed to weather after delivery.
  • If a package is marked “delivered” but you can’t locate it, contact the carrier first, then email us so we can assist.
  • If your plants arrive damaged or dead on arrival, follow the steps in our Refund & Returns Policy.

Dropshipped Items (Future Orders)

Some non-plant items (e.g., tools, décor, accessories) may be shipped directly from our suppliers. These items may:

  • Arrive separately from plant orders.
  • Have different shipping timelines or methods.
  • Include special shipping notes on the product page or at checkout.

Where We Ship

  • We currently ship within the United States.
  • We do not ship live plants internationally due to agricultural restrictions.
