Aloha! I’m the Macadamia Nut Seedling — small now, but destined to be a towering tree full of buttery, crunchy nuts. My roots trace back to Australia, but Hawaii is where I became iconic. I’ve been a key crop here since the late 19th century, and my nuts are a staple in island snacks, sweets, and souvenirs.

I start as a strong seedling with glossy green leaves and sturdy roots. With time (and a little patience), I grow into a beautiful tree reaching 20 to 40 feet tall. In the right conditions, I’ll reward you with clusters of creamy macadamias — a true Hawaiian delicacy.

Don't worry if you’re short on space — I grow happily in pots during my early years, and I adapt well to indoor life as long as I get enough sun!
