In Hawaiian culture, I’m often woven into lei and gifted during celebrations of love and aloha.

This tropical beauty, also known as Fagraea berteroana, is treasured for its creamy white blooms that gradually blush into a soft orange — all while releasing an enchanting scent that fills the air. Although many think I’m fussy, I’m actually quite adaptable! The Pua Kenikeni plant grows beautifully in containers, thrives in filtered sunlight, and doesn't need daily watering. I flourish indoors in cooler climates and bloom best with a bit of patience — usually within 1 to 2 years.
