Product Description

Aloha! I’m the plumeria plant—also known as Frangipani—and I’m here to share a piece of Hawaiian sunshine with you. Loved for my intoxicating fragrance and vivid clusters of tropical blooms, I’ve been a cherished part of island life and celebration since the 1800s.

This listing is for unrooted Plumeria cuttings only.

Looking for potted plumeria starter plants? Click here.

Once mature, I can grow anywhere from 3 to 30 feet tall depending on variety and care. My thick, leathery leaves form a whorled pattern around the tips of my branches, and when in bloom, I show off stunning flowers in shades of white, yellow, pink, or red that attract butterflies and bees.

Plumeria thrives in hot, dry weather and should always be planted in well-draining media. Though I may not bloom in the first year, give me time and sunlight, and I’ll reward you with unforgettable tropical beauty for years to come.

What You’ll Get

You'll receive your choice of:

  • Unrooted Plumeria Cutting: Freshly harvested and allowed to scab at the cut end—ready for planting.

Care Tips

  • Light: Full sun (at least 6+ hours daily)
  • Water: Moderate watering—allow planting media to fully dry between waterings
  • Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertilizer during the active growing season (spring/summer)
  • Growth Rate: Moderate; reaches bloom maturity in 2–3 years with good care
  • Other Notes: Plumeria enters dormancy in fall/winter and may drop all leaves. During this time, it will appear leafless and stick-like, but it’s perfectly healthy. Continue to provide light and light watering.

A printed care card with basic instructions is included.
